ECoR to augment extra coaches in several trains

Bhubaneswar, Nov 27 (UNI) The East Coast Railways (ECoR) has decided to augment extra coaches in some of the important trains originating from its jurisdiction during winter season to clear extra rush of waitlisted passengers.

ECoR release issued here today said the 2801 Puri-New Delhi Purusottam Express and the 2815/2875 Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Superfast Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 1 to December 31.

In the return direction, 2802 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express and 2876/2816 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express will also be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 3 to January 2 next.

Similarly,the 2843 Puri-Ahmedabad Express will be augmented with one Sleeper coach from December 2 to December 30, while in the return direction the 2844 Ahmedabad -Puri Express will be augmented with one Sleeper coach from December 4 to January 1 next.

The other important trains to be augmented with one sleeper coach were 8401 Puri-Okha Express in both the direction,the 8405 Puri- Ahmedabad Exp (Via-Sambalpur).

The 8463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December1 to December 31, 2819 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Sampark Kranti Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 3 to December 31.

The 8425 Bhubaneswar-Raipur Express and 8452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express will be augmented with one Composite coach of AC-2 and AC -3 from December 1 to December 31and in the return direction from December 2 to January 1.

The 8473 Puri-Jodhpur Express and the 8474 Jodhpur-Puri Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier and one Sleeper Class Coaches each from December 3 and December 6 respectively.

The 8477 Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 1 to December 31 and the 8478 Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express with one AC-3 tier coach from December 4 to January 3 next.

8507 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express (via-Sambalpur) and the 8509 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad Express will be augmented with one Sleeper coach from December 3 to December 31 next.
