Clash between Cong, BJP workers, two injured in firing

Morena, MP, Nov 27 (UNI) Two people were today injured when gunshots were fired during a clash between BJP and Congress workers at Piparai village under Sumavali assembly segment in this district, police said.

Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh said the injured were admitted to hospital. Their condition was stated to be out of danger.

Meanwhile, one presiding officer and another polling official were beaten up by unidentified persons causing disruption in polling for some time.

More than 10 people have been detained in connection with the two incidents.
