Andaman Lt. Governor condemns Mumbai attacks
Port Blair, Nov 27 (UNI) Lt Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Bhopinder Singh today condemned the 'dastardly' terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
Security situation in Andaman and Nicobar is peaceful and all the security agencies, including the armed forces, remain in high alert, he said.
Mr Singh also appealed to all the Islanders to remain vigilant and report to the nearest police station about suspicious movement or activities, including presence of strangers, so that timely action could be taken to prevent any anti-national elements from disturbing the' peace and harmony of these Islands.
He Meanwhile, held a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command and the Chief Secretary and reviewed the security, situation of the Islands.
