Advani leaving for Mumbai for on spot assessment
New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition L K Advani is leaving for Mumbai this morning for on the spot assessment of the terror attack last night.
The top BJP leadership will also be holding a meeting in the party headquarters at noon.
The meeting will take stock of the situation and the likely fallout on social and political aspects of the country, the party sources said.
Mr Advani had spoken to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last night expressing his concern over the attack and sought all possible measures to surmount the situation.
Around 83 people are feared dead and 200 injured in one of the worst ever terrorist attacks on the metropolis since last night.
