Zonal workshops on Rural Development

Hyderabad, Nov 26 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Rural Development, NREGP and Self Help Groups Minister G Chinna Reddy will inaugurate a two-day zonal workshop on Rural Development on November 27 and a day long Zonal workshop on National Iodine Deficiency Disorders Control Programme (NIDDCP) on November 29 in the city.

According to a press release the workshop, being organised by the Directorate of Field Publicity, Andhra Pradesh region, will be attended by Directors and Field Publicity officers belonging to Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.

During these workshops, the themes of NREGS, Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojna (SGSY), National Old Age Pension Scheme (NOAPS), Indira Awas Yojna (IAY), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) and Iodine Deficiency Disorders will be covered.
