Ten day Global event in Panvel from Nov 28

Panaji, Nov 26 (UNI) A ten-day Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya, a global event for world peace and prosperity of nations and Societies, will be held at Shantikunj Sevaashram at Panvel, near Mumbai, from November 28 to December 7.

The event has been organised by Vidhyadhiraj Charitable Trust in assocation with Paramartha Seva Samiti.

Shrinivas Dempo, president of Gokarn Paragalli Jeevottam Mutt committee, and Vice President Shivanand Salgaocar, jointly speaking to mediapersons here today, said that about 10 lakh participants are attend the event.

There will be religious and spiritual discourses by eminent personalities belonging to various faiths. Bhajans, bhavgeets, Kirtans and Bhakti sangeet programmes will be held throughout the day, he said.
