SP dares BSP not to disturb Lohia Path

Lucknow, Nov 26 (UNI) The Samajwadi Party (SP) today warned the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) not to touch its Lohia Path in the name of development of parks or monuments.

Accusing BSP for misusing public funds by demolishing public and government properties in the name of parks and monuments, SP state working president Shivpal Singh Yadav said the BSP should not dare to touch Lohia Path in the state capital, where the state government was trying to install some statues.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Yadav said people will not forgive the BSP government for demolition of religious places, buildings and hutments in several parts of the state in the name of development.

'' The SP workers would not accept any interference with the present status of Lohia Path constructed by party president Mulayam Singh Yadav and would not allow setting up of any statue there,'' he announced.

Alleging that the present Mayawati government is the most corrupt regime in the state, Mr Yadav said very soon people will come out openly against the government to show their protest.
