Security raised at MP neighbouring UP district for election
Etawah, Nov 26 (UNI) A tight security net has been laid in this district touching Madhya Pradesh (MP) for Assembly election in that state tomorrow.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dharamveer Singh, a complete 'nakabandi' (sealing of routes and conduction of thorough search) was being done at 18 sensitive places for peaceful polling at Bhind (MP).
One sub-inspector and four constables have been deployed on the spot, he informed.
Besides, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) sleuths have been deployed.
A special attention was being paid towards security as in the past, elections were influenced by dacoits in the area.
