Poll code violation case against Cong candidate

Tikamgarh, MP, Nov 26 (UNI) A case has been registered against Congress candidate Yadvendra Singh for violation of model code of conduct in Tikamgarh constituency by organising a rally without obtaining permission and blocking the prominent roads.

Official sources said today that on receiving complaint, Election Observer Trilok Chand has issued directives to the police to register a case in this regard. Police also seized three-four vehicles from the spot.

Besides Mr Singh, Bhartiya Jan Shakti head Uma Bharti and BJP candidate Akhand Pratap Singh were also in the fray.
