Life returns to normal in Baramulla after 4 days strike
Baramulla, Nov 26: Life returned to normal on Wednesday, Nov 26 after remaining crippled for four days due to undeclared curfew and spontaneous strike in this north Kashmir town and its adjoining areas, going to polls in the fourth- phase of election on December 7 alongwith 17 other assembly segments.
Shops and business establishments reopened here this morning and traffic on all routes was normal. Work in government offices and banks was also as usual.
The undeclared curfew was imposed in the old town alongwith other areas from Friday evening after two youths were killed and another was injured in security forces firing.
The authorities have already ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
