Kiran Chaudhary gets back environment portfolio

Chandigarh, Nov 26 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today handed back the Enviornment portfolio to Minister of State Kiran Chaudhary.

Ms Chaudhary had been divested of the environment portfolio yesterday by the Chief Minister.

In addition to her existing portfolios, Forest and Tourism, she would now also hold the charge of enviornment.

An official release here stated that Governor Dr A R Kidwai has, on the advice of the Chief Minister, allocated with immediate effect the portfolio of environment to Ms Chaudhary.

Therefore, the Chief Minister will cease to hold the portfolio of Environment, the release added.
