Cong candidate arrested for violating prohibitory orders

Guna, MP, Nov 26 (UNI) Three Congress workers, including a woman party candidate, were today arrested for violating prohibitory orders in this district, police said.

Congress candidate from Guna assembly seat Sangeeta Rajak, her husband Mohan Rajak and Guna municipality chairman Devendra Gupta were arrested but later released on personal bond.

Ms Rajak said she did not violate prohibitory orders. She was contacting people in silence when citizens in large number came out in her support. She alleged that action was taken against her on the indications of her opponents.
