Situation deteriorates further in Lalgarh as tribal movement extends

Lalgarh, Nov 25 (UNI) Situation in Lalgarh deteriorated further today as tribal movement extended to Panchapara and Tilapur in the district.

Police said roads were blocked in these areas and dug up at Pirakuli under Salboni police station area, where serial blast occured on November 2.

Police virodhi and anti-terror comittee spearheading the tribal movement has issued ultimatum to the government to take decision regarding their 13-point demand within 48 hours, failing which they will start police boycott movement.

During the boycott shopkeepers in the area will not sell food stuffs and drinking water to the police.

A group of intelligentia from Kolkata is expected to reach here tomorrow to study the gravity of the situation.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand party, Aditya group president Aditya Kisku has given a call for bandh on November 28 and 29 in West Midnapore, Bankura and Purulia districts against police atrocities.
