Precious metals rise on bullish advice
Mumbai, Nov 25: Maintaining an upward trend, both the precious metals moved further up, as silver advanced by whopping Rs 670 per kg and gold by Rs 40 per ten gm in the opening session on Tuesday, Nov 25 on sustained demand from ornament makers, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.
Similarly, in London market too, a bullish trend was observed, as gold was quoted high at USD 811.00/812.50 (801.00/802.25) per troy ounce, while silver was at USD 10.33/10.34 (09.53/09.54) per troy ounce. Following were the spot silver and gold opening prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 17,770 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 13,175 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 13,235.
