Pranab meets PM Prachanda
Kathmandu, Nov 25 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee met Nepal Prime Minister Prachanda at his residence in Baluwater in Kathmandu today and discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mukherjee, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, discussed various issues of concern between the two countries with Prachanda.
'' They discussed about political situation of the country, peace process, Army integration among others, Hira Bahadur Thapa, Prime Minister's Special Adviser said after the meeting.
Mr Mukherjee advised Nepal Prime Minister to move ahead with the politics of consensus and cooperation and discussed on the criminal activities in Nepal-India border and its solution, Thapa said.
He is also scheduled to meet Nepali Congress (NC) President Girija Prasad Koirala, Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav and leaders of other parties.
