Man kills five of his own family

Jamshedpur, Nov 25 (UNI) In a shocking incident of cold blooded murder, a man killed his mother, brother, sister-in-law and two of his nephews in Gondai village under Muffasil police station of West Singhbhum district, to avenge his brother's alleged illicit relationship with his wife.

Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Jha here today said one Nirmal Dorai reportedly had an illicit relationship with the wife of his younger brother Tribhuvan.

On November 23 night, after an altercation on the issue, Tribhuvan, with the help of his cousins, killed Nirmal, his wife Podai, mother Sonamuni and two nephews (sons of Nirmal) by hitting them repeatedly with lathis and rods. Later, they dumped the bodies in a nearby jungle.

Police recovered the bodies last evening and lodged a case. A manhunt was launched to nab Tribhuvan and his absconding aides.
