Madurai: Give him a job, says HC to Police

Madurai, Nov 25: The Director General of Police refused to recruit a young lad as Police constable as his brother was involved in the 1999 rioting case.

Now the Madras High Court quashed this order and has directed the Police to give him employment. Justice S. Nagamuthu agreed with the petitioner that it was not him, but his elder brother who was accused in the 1999 rioting case which ended up in acquittal in 2002.
