HC disposes off petition challenging SI recruitment examination
Patna, Nov 25 (UNI) Patna High Court today disposed off writ petition challenging the result of competitive examination conducted by state Staff Selection Commission for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in 2004.
A single bench of Justice Navin Sinha disposed off the writ petition challenging the result of competitive examination for recruitment of the Sub Inspectors held in 2004.
The bench disposed off the petition after hearing arguments of petitioner and state counsel.
The unsuccessful candidates had filed the petition in the court challenging the results of the examination on the ground that there were wrong options in model answers of the four questions of the papers supplied to the candidates.
State counsel informed the court that fresh merit list had been prepared by the state staff selection commission without taking the questions with option of wrong answers into account.
The court observed that after the fresh list, complaints of the petitioners had been sorted out and disposed off the petition accordingly.
Earlier, state staff selection commission had conducted the competitive examination for recruitment of 1510 Sub-Inspectors in 2004.
