Haryana seeks central funds for college infrastructure

Sirsa, Nov 25 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Mange Ram Gupta said that the State Government has forwarded a Rs 315 crore scheme to Central Government for improving infrastructural facilities in colleges.

The Education Minister was delivering his convocation address yesterday at 23rd convocation of Government National Post-graduate College here.

He said that the State Government has implemented a number of ambitious schemes to encourage and facilitate girls in getting education.

While reiterated the commitment of the State Government to promote technical education he said that quality education was being provided through EDUSAT even in rural areas.

Later while interacting with media persons, he said that the Government would continue to seek services of guest lecturers till the recruitment of regular teachers.
