Former PCC Chief calls for more cooperation within Party
Dehra Dun, Nov 25 (UNI) Former Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Chief Harish Rawat today expressed concern over the widening rift within the Party and said greater cooperation and understanding was essential to keep the Party intact.
Stating that the State Congress did not ''run on papers and notices'', Mr Rawat stressed on the need for enhanced cooperation and understanding within the Party.
Mr Rawat was interacting with mediapersons here on the completion of his tenure in the Rajya Sabha.
Recalling his experience, Mr Rawat said he tabled many important issues related to the State during his stint in the Rajya Sabha but he felt he had still not accomplished enough.
To a question on whether he would re-enter the election arena, Mr Rawat said there were no such plans and he did not intend to contest any election till 2010.
