Agro-industrial exhibition in Kolhapur from Dec 4

Kolhapur, Nov 25: An agro-industrial exhibition, 'Shahu Shetkari 2008', will be held at the Merry Weather ground here from December four.

The five-day-long exhibition has been organised by Shree Chhatrapati Shahu Sahakari Gul Kharedi Vikri (Jaggery purchase and sales) Sangh Ltd, Kolhapur. It is held once in two years since 1995.

At the exhibit, all products, services, latest equipment and innovative productive methods will be displayed for farmers, Sangh founder chairman Rajaram Patil said in a release here.

In the event, the government organizations, agricultural colleges and universities, nurseries and finance companies will showcase their products and services.

Besides, there will be discussions, debates and seminars on agriculture by scholars, he added.
