Shyam Krishnan, Biju win Jayachandran award

Kozhikode, Nov 24 (UNI) Scribes P K Shyam Krishnan an N K Biju of Malayalam channels Asianet and Kairali respectively have been chosen for the maiden K Jayachandran memorial visual media award instituted by the Kerala Union of Working Jouranlists (KUWJ).

A judging committee comprised media critic C S Venkiteswaran, Calicut University Journalism Department Head Sucheta Nair, journalists Premchand and N P Rajendran selected them for the award, a KUWJ release here today said.

The award carried a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and certificate.
