Sahara appoints Gleeds for its chain of townships

Kochi (Kerala), Nov 24 : Sahara has appointed the International Management and Construction Consultants Gleeds to provide consultancy and project management for the development of its Sahara City Homes brand of townships in 217 cities of India.

Gleeds will provide specialized support to Sahara City Homes in the process of construction supply chain, quality, health and safety management.

The company was selected on the basis of their past records, quality of work and capability of handling mega projects.

Announcing the tie up Sushanto Roy, Head - Sahara Prime City Limited said, "This tie-up is another initiative towards our commitment of providing world class quality product to our costumers. Gleeds is a world renowned construction consultant and we are sure that this partnership will help in our endeavor of delivering international standard townships at Sahara City Homes in 217 cities of India."

Sahara City Homes is a flagship real estate project of Sahara Prime City Limited, under which a chain of 217 townships each spread over 100 to 300 acres are planned to be developed across India.

The townships are planned to provide a quality community living by offering amenities such as club and community center, hospital, shopping mall and multiplex, school, hotel and club, uninterrupted power and water supply, multilevel security, retirement home, local transport and central park with playground equipped with floodlights.

The townships have already started taking shape with the development and construction in full swing in the cities of Lucknow, Nagpur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Gwalior and Coimbatore.

Development work is under progress in the Sahara City Homes townships of Jaipur, Aurangabad, Solapur and Jodhpur. By Juhan Samuel
