Pranab Mukherjee to visit Kathmandu
New Delhi, Nov 24 : External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will visit Kathmandu today to discuss issues, including the on-going peace process, economic cooperation and review of treaties and agreements.
Mukherjee will call on Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Prachanda, Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav and other senior political leader.
He will also be inspecting the Koshi Bank embankment and is scheduled to attend the ministerial level meeting of Nepal-India foreign affairs during his stay.
This is the first high-level visit of India after the formation of the government under the leadership of the CPN-Maoist.
