'Language and Literature' conference in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, Nov 24: The Department of English of Karunya University will organise a national conference on 'Language and Literature' on Nov 28 and 29. According to a University release, the conference will aim at giving a new perspective to English Language Teaching (ELT) for specialising the language for a specific purpose. Other important issues related to teaching English and literature will be deliberated upon.
Heads of English departments of various universities and colleges are expected to participate in the deliberations of the conference.
