Jeweller robbed, hurt with family
Kanpur, Nov 24 (UNI) Four members of a jeweller's family were wounded after miscreants barged into their house and decamped with cash and jewellery worth several thousands of Rupees in Narval area late last night, police said today.
Anil Tiwari of Sabaitpur used to bring home jewellery each day after closing his shop.
Last night, a gang of miscreants raided his house and committed burglary. However, when the family resisted their move, they wounded Anil, his wife and their two daughters, police informed.
A case has been registered.
