Home Sec level talks between India, Pakistan to be held tomorrow

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Terrorism, counterfeit currency, drug trafficking, exchange of prisoners and visa regime would be the focus of discussion at the fifth round of Home Secretary level talks between India and Pakistan to be held in Islamabad tomorrow. The talks are part of the on-going composite dialogue process between the two countries. These talks will be held in the backdrop of recently initiated cross-LoC trade which is a big step towards bringing the people closer.

The talks seek to intensify efforts on the part of both the countries to check terrorism, smuggling of counterfeit currency, drug trafficking and exchange of prisoners.

The Indian side at the talks will be led by Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta and the Pakistani side by their Secretary (Interior) Syed Kamal Shah.

The last Home Secretary level talks between the two countries were held in July last year in New Delhi.
