Dry weather continues

Bangalore, Nov 24(UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Hessarghatta, Nelamanagala 2 each, M M Hills, K.R.Pet, Thondebhavi, Bangalore City, Bangalore HAL Airport, Huliyurdurga 1 each.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka however fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Dharwad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.0 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur a few places over South Interior Karnataka, at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather likely to prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka .

Mainly dry weather prevailed over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Decrease in rainfall over the State.

Local forecast: Generally cloudy. Few spells of rain likely.

Minimum temperature will be around 19 degree Celsius.
