67 per cent voters cast votes in 2nd phase in J
Srinagar, Nov 24 (UNI) A total of 67 per cent voters of the total 4,93,878 electorate cast their ballots ignoring poll boycott call and braving chill in six assembly segments which went to polls in the Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.
According to latest estimate after reports were received from far flung and remote areas from the constituencies, which went to polls in the second phase, a total of 67 per cent had cast their ballots.
Darhal tops the voter turnout with 76.74 per cent, followed by Nowshera 73.69 per cent, Rajouri 70.16 per cent, Kalakote 69.53 per cent, Kangan 59.35 per cent and Ganderbal 51.97 per cent.
