6 rave party accused remanded to judicial custody till Dec 8

Mumbai, Nov 24 (UNI) A metropolitan court today remanded six youths, who tested positive for drugs during a rave party in Juhu here in October, to Judicial Custody till December 8.

The accused identified as Gavrav Aradiya, Vikky Negi, Shiva Malani, Rahul Anand, Nishant Malviya and Krunal Francise Agar, will file their bail application in Special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Court tomorrow.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vishwas Nagre Patil said, of the 231 youth detained during the raid on Hotel 72 degree on October 6, the test reports of 119 have been received, and of them 109 have tested positive. Eight organisers were also arrested during the raid, he said.

These youths were being sent summons to remain present in Anti Narcotic Cell office at Azad Maidan to record their statements in batches of 15 each. Today only six people were present, he said.
