Three boys of a marriage party killed in road accident
Davanagere, Karnataka, Nov 23 (UNI) Three boys were killed and ten injured when a truck carrying a marriage party fell into a canal near Sulekere, about 40 km from here today.
Police said the deceased were identified as Sunil (14), Santosh (12) and Sridhar (13).
While one of them was killed on the spot, the other two succumbed to injuries in the Channagiri hospital where the injured were admitted.
The victims were on their way to Basavapattana in Channagiri taluk from Siddapura village in Kadur taluk of the district to attend a marriage ceremony, when the mishap occurred, police said.
