Repolling at two polling centres in Korba on Nov 25

Korba, Nov 23 (UNI) Repolling will be conducted at two polling Centres under Katghora Assembly segment in this district on November 25.

District Returning Officer Ashok Agrawal said repolling will be conducted at Ralia and Madianar polling centres from 0800 hours to 1700 hours on November 25.

More than 100 per cent polling was reported at Madianar polling centre where 294 voters exercised their franchise although there were a total of 210 slectors.

During investigation, it was found that the names of certain voters had been deleted from voting list at Madianar centre and were meant to cast their vote at Ralia centre.

However, they voted at the polling centre due to lapse by the presiding officer.
