Reliance Money launches web portal

Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) Reliance Money (RM), the retail brokerage and distribution arm of Anil Ambani's financial services firm Reliance Capital, has launched its web portal to strenghten its existing network of 10,000 outlets and 20,000 touch points.

Announcing the launch here today, Company Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sudip Bandyopadhyay in a statement said, ''The portal is a strategic initiative by RM to strengthen its distribution network by leveraging the online medium. We realized the need to develop a comprehensive online shopping solution that would deliver financial and related products for all asset classes ranging from insurance, mutual funds to bullion.'' The company is attracting the expanding 60 million domestic internet users with non-financial consumer products like apparel, accessories, SMS packs and home appliances.
