Prakash blames Eshwarappa for anti-community stand
Hubli, Nov 23 (UNI) Karnataka State Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board Chairman Varthuru Prakash, MLA, today came down heavily on Minister for Power K S Eshwarappa, stating that he has been no more the leader of Kuruba community as he never supported the cause of the down trodden community.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Prakash urged the Chief Minister to drop Mr Eshwarappa from the cabinet for his anti-people attitude.
He said former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah, who has been working for the upliftment of the Kuruba community, is the real leader.
''After January 14 next, there will be a perceptible change in the political scenario and Mr Siddaramaiah will emerge as their leader,'' he added.
However, Mr Prakash praised Chief Minister B S Yaddyurappa as the best Chief Minister as he really cared for the community and appealed the voters to support all BJP candidates during the coming by-election.
