Police arrests hardcore Maoist couple
Jeypore, Nov 23 (UNI) Police have arrested a hardcore Maoist couple from the Chandragiri area, about five km from Bisam-Cuttack, in Rayagada district.
Raygada Police Superintendent Ashis Kumar Singh here today said the couple, identified as Surendra and his wife Nirmala, was arrested last night.
Police seized a rifle and ammunition from their possession.
Both Surendra and Nirmala were senior members of the Vansdhara division and involved in naxalite attacks on Nayagarha and R Udaygiri.
