Janet Jackson's 'nipplegate' case to be reviewed again

London, Nov 23 : The 'nipplegate' scandal involving Janet Jackson is to be reviewed again.

After Jackson's right nipple was exposed while she was performing with Justin Timberlake at the 2004 SuperBowl, a fine of 550,000 dollars was slapped on TV network CBS by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission officials, who said that they broke indecency rules.

However, a federal court subsequently ruled that CBS would not have to pay the fine, as they were not responsible for Jackson's actions, reports the Daily Star.

Now, almost five years after the wardrobe malfunction scandal, government officials are asking the Supreme Court to review the footage again, suggesting the panel which oversaw the original investigation may have "erred in holding that the federal communications commission acted arbitrarily and capriciously."
