Foundation Stone of Multimedia Mahabharata Gallery laid
Kurukshetra, Nov 23 (UNI) Haryana Governor Dr A R Kidwai today laid the Foundation Stone of Multimedia Mahabharata and Gita Gallery at Sri Krishna Museum Complex here.
The proposed Digital Gallery in the third Phase of Srikrishna Museum would be built at the cost of Rs five crore by the state Tourism department, which has received the grant in aid from the Centre the Kurukshetra-Panipat-Pinjore circuit.
The first phase was inaugurated in the year 1991 and the second phase in 2005 here to develop the venue of the epic battle of Mahabharata.
The Panorama project presented the major scenes of the 18-day battle of Mahabharata.
The third phase, which would provide a digital experience of the epic, was in response to the desire expressed by a large number of visitors to know about the Mahabharata events, an official release said here, UNI JN BP1814
