Bomb hoax at Indore RTO

Indore, Nov 23 (UNI) An anonymous phone call saying a bomb was planted in the Indore Road Transport Office (RTO) kept the police on tenterhooks, but turned out to be a hoax.

Police were put on alert following the telephone call received by the RTO steno around noon yesterday that a bomb was planted in the building and would be exploded soon. Bomb disposal squads were rushed to the building premises, and a thorough search was carried out.

However, no explosive material was found and the case was in progress, police added.
