Assailant held on charges of murdering car driver
Noida, Nov 23 (UNI) Police today arrested a youth accused of last night's carjacking and murder in Sector 37 of Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
Police said the man Amit was sacked from the Army.
Following the information given by Amit, police have recovered a car robbed from Dadri area, car looted from Sector 37, two motorcycles and a country-made pistol.
The cab engaged in a software company was hijacked by the assailants and later they shot the cab driver Kailash in Sector 37 last night.
Before this incident some miscreants robbed an engineer Dinesh Kumar, working in a Noida-based company, at gunpoint in Dadri area.
Amit is a resident of Ghaziabad Loni.
Amit along with his accomplices Vikas Pandit, Omi Gujar and Mintu were carrying out robberies in Delhi area.
Police is searching for his three accomplices.
