Unidentified people fire on forest officials, one killed
Siliguri, Nov 22 (UNI) A person was killed in an exchange of fire between unidentified miscreants and forest officials at Bagdogra under Siliguri sub-division last midnight, police said today.
SP Darjeeling Rahul Srivastav here said some unidentified gunmen fired on forest officials. When the officials retaliated, a person was killed on the spot.
The body could not be identified so far, the SP said, adding the reason behind the firing was yet to be ascertained.
