Two students killed as two school buses collided
Karnal, Nov 22 (UNI) Two girl students were killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between two school buses on the Sitamai Road on the outskirts of the city today.
The deceased were identified as Pooja (10) and Rajwant (12), both residents of Katchwa village. The injured, two of them seriously, were admitted to nearby hospitals.
The mishap occured when one bus tried to avoid hitting a hanging tree branch on the road and collided with another bus coming from the opposition direction.
The bus also hit two passing motorcycles in the process, injuring three riders.
