TTD to establish Rs 60 crore worth hitec-blood bank in Tirupati

Tirupati, Nov 22 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will set up a Rs 60 International standard blood bank here soon, TTD Chairman D K Audikesavulu Naidu said today.

Addressing newspersons after the TTD Board meeting at Annamayya Bhavan, he said the Board resolved to establish the highly modernized blood bank jointly with Indian Red Cross Society.

The decision was taken by the earlier Board, he said, adding a 12 member expert committee had approved the project.

TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary and TTD Trust Board members including Mrs Indira Reddy attended the meeting.
