WB: Technical snag forces aircraft for emergency landing

Siliguri, Nov 22: A special tour flight IC1765 from Kolkata to Chennai was forced to make an emergency landing at the Bagdogra airport on Saturday, Nov 22 following technical problem.

Airport officials said the flight, carrying 129 passengers, landed at Bagdogra airport at 1020 hours to avert an accident.

Flight engineers and other support staff were called from Kolkata for repair work, they said, adding the passengers were waiting in the airport lobby.

The flight is expected to take off for Chennai at 1600 hours, the officials informed.
