Muslim League elects new office-bearers

Kozhikode, Nov 22 (UNI) The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) in Kerala today elected senior leaders T H Abdul Salam Haji, Kalladi Mohammed and A C Ahamed as the new vice-presidents.

The IUML state council also elected Mr Hameedali Shamnad as the Treasurer.

Mr K P A Majeed, Mr T P M Zahir and Mr K N A Khader are the new secretaries, IUML president and Union Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed told reporters after the meeting.

Existing state president Panakkad Syed Mohammedali Shihab Thangal, general secretary P K Kunhalikutty, vice president T P Abdul Salam Haji, secretaries E T Mohammed Basheer, M K Muneer and T T A Ahamed Khabeer will continue in their respective posts, he said.

The meeting, attended by 370 council members, also elected a 104-member working committee, he added.
