Jamie Foxx 'desperate' to play first black Bond

London, Nov 22 : American actor Jamie Foxx desperately wants to be the first black actor to play James Bond.

After the recent victory of president-elect Barack Obama, Daniel Craig had revealed that it could be the right time for the first black Bond, following which the 'Ray' star suggested his name of replacing current 007.

Foxx said that he would inject his own personality into the English spy.

" I'd put a little swing in it. A little hip-hop, you know," the Daily Express quoted him as telling Access Hollywood.

"Maybe not drinking martinis, but drinking some Hennessey maybe. Bond would drink dark liquor," he added.
