Gold, silver surge on bullish advice

Mumbai, Nov 22: Gold opened high at Rs 13,015 per ten gm and silver at Rs 16,870 per kg, on sustained demand by industrial users, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.

The yellow metal rose by Rs 685 and white metal by Rs 390 against their last close. Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 16,870 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 13,015 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 13,075.
