'BJP raising terrorism issues to hide failures'
Damoh, MP, Nov 22: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Saturday, Nov 22 alleged that the BJP was raking up the issue of terrorism to hide its failures. Mr Gandhi, while addressing an election meeting here, said the BJP had failed to bring about development of Madhya Pradesh and other states although it came to power riding on these promises.
''Due to this, BJP leaders are raising the issue of terrorism in view of assembly polls in the state,'' he said.
In his about seven-minute-long speech, Mr Gandhi expressed concern over backwardness of Bundelkhand region and said the BJP must provide explanation for this. He alleged that central schemes had not been properly utilised in the state.
On coming to power, the Congress will work for overall development of youths and women.
Congress party's Madhya Pradesh incharge general secretary V Narayan Sami and state Congress president Suresh Pachouri were also present.
