BJP District unit dissolved

Jaipur, Nov 22 (UNI) The ruling BJP has dissolved its Sawai Madhopur District unit for anti party activities with immediate effect.

Party State Vice President Arun Chaturvedi said that Paras Mal Jain has been appointed interim district president for the time being.

The dissolution came a day after former minister and Meena strongman Kirodi Lal Meena's expulsion from the party for contesting election against BJP official nominees in the district.

Mr Meena is contesting Todabhim(ST) and Sawai Madhopur assembly seats in December 4 polls, as an Independent. His wife Golma Devi is also in the fray in Mahuwa(ST) constituency against BJP nominee former MP Usha Meena.

Mr Meena was also enjoying support in the dissolved district committee.
