Two vehicles seized from minister's convoy in MP

Morena, MP, Nov 21 (UNI) Two vehicles, which were part of convoy of Uttar Pradesh Forest Minister Fateh Bahadur Singh, who arrived here for campaigning for Assembly election in Madhya Pradesh, were today seized.

Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh said Mr Singh entered Madhya Pradesh and was campaigning in Morena without prior information or as part of a government programme.

In view of state assembly polls, his convoy could include a maximum of three vehicles.

Since the minister's convoy had more vehicles, two vehicles -- one sans registration number -- were seized, while drivers of two vehicles managed to escape, he added.
