Sheila's kin running parallel govt in Delhi: Jolly
New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) The BJP today trained guns on Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, accusing her of giving free rein to her relatives who it said are running a parallel government in the national capital and unconstitutionally demanding explanations from civic body and police officials on several issues.
''Ms Rama Dhawan, whom Ms Dikshit considers her sister, has been running a parallel government in Delhi and often summons NDMC and CPWD officials and demands explanations on a range of issues,'' BJP MLA and party's New Delhi assembly seat candidate for the Delhi Assembly elections Vijay Jolly alleged at a media conference here.
''All phone records of Ms Dhawan should be checked and, if my allegations are found true, she should be prosecuted as per the law.'' Flanked by party senior leader Kirti Azad and Sonepat MP Kishan Singh Sangwan, Mr Jolly said this kind of functioning by any Chief Minister is an unfortunate and cruel joke on any democracy, which should not be allowed at any cost.
